Marie-Christine Verheyen studeerde in 2021 af aan de opleiding Drama-Spel aan het RITCS in Brussel met de afstudeervoorstelling Masters of Horror, onder begeleiding van Stef Lernous. Sindsdien ontwikkelde ze zich verder als speler en maker binnen diverse projecten,
Haar werk kenmerkt zich door een sterk beeldend en fysiek karakter, waarin improvisatie en de kracht van verbeelding een belangrijke rol spelen. Ze werkte en speelde mee in Tristis (2022) en SCAPEGOAT (2024) van Ferenc Balcaen.
In 2023 speelde ze mee in BAKED BEANS van Lena Majri en Febe Coysman. In 2024 behaalde ze een educatieve master in de podiumkunsten aan het RITCS en gaf ze theater- en zedenleer les aan kinderen in Brussel.
In 2025 ging ze in première met o + o = 8, haar eerste voorstelling als maker, waarin tekst, scenografie en spel samenvloeien tot één geheel. Momenteel maakt ze deel uit van het Traject Platform in de maak, waaronder ze de voorstelling HA zal maken.

Marie-Christine Verheyen graduated in 2021 from the Drama Acting programme at RITCS in Brussels with the graduation performance Masters of Horror, under the guidance of Stef Lernous. Since then, she has continued to develop as a performer and maker within various projects.
Her work is characterised by a strong visual and physical approach, in which improvisation and the power of imagination play an important role. She worked and performed in Tristis (2022) and SCAPEGOAT (2024) by Ferenc Balcaen.
In 2023, she performed in BAKED BEANS by Lena Majri and Febe Coysman. In 2024, she obtained an educational master’s degree in the performing arts at RITCS and taught theatre and ethics to children in Brussels.
In 2025, she premiered o + o = 8, her first performance as a maker, in which text, scenography, and performance merge into a single whole. She is currently part of the Traject Platform in the making, within which she is developing the performance HA.
