Traject 23-25

Platform In De Maak facilitated an eighteen-month creative program (2023-2025) for eighteen emerging artists. During this program, the entire artistic process was the collective responsibility of the emerging artists, who connected horizontally with each other and the arts field based on the principle that "whoever engages and organizes, creates."

The programme consisted of various components: workshops, residencies, maker days and the PLATEAU25 festival.

The project was supported by the Flemish government.

The accompanying festival was supported by the city of Leuven.

The workshops

During the start of Traject 23-35, six workshops were organized around the following themes: business, dramaturgy, pitching, lighting design, and inclusivity within the cultural sector. These were led by experts from the broader cultural field.

The residencies

Each creator received a minimum of two weeks of residency with a PIDM partner. PIDM also provided a production budget for each creator.

The makersdays

During the Makerdays, PIDM took over a house for a day. Each day, four makers shared their work in progress with an audience. These days were supplemented with discussions and workshops.
