Lou Grivac ontdekte hedendaagse dans via het community-programma van de school Les Pieds Nus in Brest (Frankrijk). Naast haar diploma in de kunsten studeerde ze klassieke zang en begon ze theater aan het Conservatorium. Ze speelt bovendien harp sinds haar zesde en neemt deel aan multidisciplinaire projecten.
In 2020, kort nadat ze met dans was begonnen, creëerde Lou de solo FOCUS, een werk dat haar verlangen bevestigde om dit pad professioneel te volgen. De daaropvolgende herfst ging ze studeren aan het CFDd in Lyon.
In 2022 richtte ze samen met Laura Delande Compagnie Et si ? op, in samenwerking met de Franse structuur Groupe Nuits voor het seizoen 2025–2026. Daarna vervolgde ze haar dansopleiding aan Performact in Torres Vedras (Portugal), waar ze zich specialiseerde in floorwork-technieken. Daar ontwikkelde ze een fysieke en explosieve dansstijl, gedreven door een sterke passie voor expressieve beweging en fysiek theater.
Lou is momenteel in Brussel gevestigd en werkt met haar gezelschap aan de creatie van de solo It is what it is, met steun van verschillende artistieke platforms in België. Daarnaast werkt ze aan de herwerking van C’est une façon de parler, een duet dat ze in 2022 samen met Laura Delande choreografeerde en uitvoerde.
Ze vervoegde ook het gezelschap Les Temps qui Changent, onder leiding van Éléa Guilloteau, dat momenteel werkt aan de creatie ANATHEMA or the day you choose to become. Lou werkt daarnaast nauw samen met Labolobo, een kunstenaarscollectief dat projecten ontwikkelt met bewoners van woonzorgcentra.
In het seizoen 2025–2026 zal Lou choreograferen voor de professionele dansstudenten van het CFDd in Lyon en wil ze haar eigen artistieke projecten verder blijven ontwikkelen.

Lou Grivac discovered contemporary dance through the community program at Les Pieds Nus school in Brest, France. Alongside her degree in Arts, she studied classical singing and began theatre at the Conservatoire. She has also played the harp since the age of six and participates in multidisciplinary projects.
In 2020, shortly after beginning dance, Lou choreographed FOCUS, a solo that confirmed her desire to pursue this path professionally. She joined the CFDd in Lyon the following autumn.
In 2022, she co-founded Compagnie Et si ? with Laura Delande, in partnership with the French company Groupe Nuits for the 2025/2026 season. She then continued her dance training at Performact in Torres Vedras, Portugal, where she specialized in floorwork techniques. It was there that she developed a physical and explosive dance style, always driven by a strong passion for expressive movement and physical theatre.
Now based in Brussels, Lou is currently working with her company on the creation of a solo titled It is what it is, supported by various artistic platforms in Belgium, as well as on the rewriting of C’est une façon de parler, a duet co-choreographed and performed with Laura Delande in 2022.
She joined the company Les Temps qui Changent, under the direction of Éléa Guilloteau, currently in the creation process for the piece ANATHEMA or the day you choose to become. Lou collaborates closely with Labolobo, an artist collective working with senior residents in retirement homes.
During the 2025/2026 season, Lou will choreograph for the professional dance students at CFDd in Lyon and intends to continue developing her personal artistic projects.
