Platform In De Maak is an initiative that started and grew bottom-up by and for new makers. A new maker is defined very broadly from dancer to technician, from administration genius to communications expert. 'New' is independent of age. The platform wants to bring new makers into contact with the public and with each other.

Platform In De Maak organizes an annual festival. This festival is organized by the new makers who can also present their work during the festival weekend. It is therefore hopeful to see how we as a collective force - even in times of corona - are doing everything we can to get new work to an audience. We work as a collective. Within this collective operation, I mainly focus on the business and production side.
